(Purified IgY Antibodies for the Prevention and Treatment of E.coli Diarrhea and Edema in Pigs)
1. Composition
Purified specific IgY antibodies against E.coli (F4, F5, F6, and F18) ≥ 4 log2
Stabilizers and solvents: Sufficient amount to make up 20 ml
2. Indications
Provides passive immunity for the prevention and treatment of E.coli-associated diarrhea and edema syndrome caused by F4, F5, F6, and F18 strains in pigs. This product contains purified, specific IgY antibodies that offer quick therapeutic effects and have a long shelf life.
3. Directions for Use and Dosage
* How to Use:
Bring to room temperature and shake well before use.
Administer orally or by intraperitoneal injection.
* Dosage:
+ Prevention: Administer 2-3 ml directly into the piglet’s mouth within the first 12 hours after birth, repeat after 7 days.
+ Treatment: Administer 1.5 – 2 ml per kg of body weight by intraperitoneal injection once a day for 3-4 days until recovery. For oral administration, use double the injection dosage.
+ The antibodies can be mixed with supportive medications or antibiotics for treatment.
4. Precautions
– Ensure sterilization of all injection equipment.
– Use the antibodies immediately after opening.
– Dispose of any unused product according to veterinary regulations.
5. Storage
Store at 2-8°C, away from direct sunlight. Do not freeze.
